Queen excluders are used to separate the brood chamber from the honey super, preventing the queen bee from entering the honey super. The special openings allow only worker bees to pass through, ensuring that the frames in the honey super contain honey without brood during extraction. This excluder is specifically designed for Flugo polyurethane hives with Adamcova míra (39x24), and we recommend using this excluder for optimal separation of the brood chamber and honey super.

Usage and Maintenance Recommendations:

Do not expose the excluder to direct sunlight or frost. After the honey flow, it is advisable to remove the excluder carefully before starting bee feeding. For cleaning, remove wax and wash using:

• A brush and hot water at 60 °C
• A steam chamber, resistant up to 100 °C
• A hot water rinse (100 °C) with a 10% sodium hydroxide (lye) solution

After cleaning, dry the excluder and store it in a dry place.
