This set includes a modern top feeder and a hive box for 11 frames, designed specifically for Flugo beehives. You can choose the hive box in frame sizes: 39x30, 39x27.5, 39x24, 39x17, or 39x15 cm.

Top Feeder

The top feeder allows easy feeding of up to three nucs simultaneously, using three separate compartments. This feeder is particularly useful in spring when it supports the growth of strong colonies. The three compartments enable the addition of water, mineralized water, and sugar syrup as needed.

Hive Box for 11 Frames

Made of high-quality polyurethane, the hive box provides excellent thermal insulation, equivalent to 30 cm of wood. Each box is monolithic, made from a single piece of polyurethane without any joints, ensuring strength with 3.5 cm thick walls.

Partition Placement Options:

• One partition: Divides the box into two nucs (5+5 or 7+3 frames).
• Two partitions: Divides the box into three nucs (5, 2, and 3 frames).

Each hive box has its own ventilation opening with a trapezoidal stopper for easy ventilation control.

Painting Instructions

Polyurethane is not UV-resistant. Apply a protective coating after 1–2 years of sun exposure. Lightly sand the surface before painting to ensure proper adhesion. A properly applied coating lasts up to 10 years.

Potential Disadvantages

Unpainted beehives may have a shorter lifespan and develop peeling over time. Minor imperfections or bubbles do not affect functionality and are not considered defects.
