Painting Instructions

The polyurethane is not UV resistant. To extend hive life up to 30 years:

• Expose the hive to sunlight for 1–2 years for natural surface preparation
• Lightly sand the surface before painting
• Apply UV-stable paint (synthetic, water-based, or two-component)
• After proper painting, the finish can last up to 10 years
