Ventilation Recommendations:

• Close the bottom ventilation with the plastic tray from January 10 to March 30 to support late winter colony growth.
• Gradually remove the tray in April, depending on weather conditions.
• Keep the bottom ventilation fully open during the rest of the year, even in severe frost.
• During hot summer days above 30°C, use ventilated closures on the hive cover and place a vapor-permeable sheet or propolis mesh for better air circulation.

Painting Instructions:
Polyurethane is not UV-resistant. Apply a protective coating after 1–2 years of sun exposure. Lightly sand the surface before painting for better adhesion. A properly applied coating lasts up to 10 years.

Potential Disadvantages:
Unpainted hives may peel over time and have a shorter lifespan. Minor imperfections or bubbles do not affect the hive's functionality and are not considered defects.
