Painting Instructions

Polyurethane is not UV-resistant. Apply a UV-protective coating after 1–2 years of sun exposure. Lightly sand the surface before application to ensure proper adhesion. A properly applied coating can protect the hive for up to 10 years without repainting.

Potential Disadvantages

Unpainted hive boxes may have a shorter lifespan and may peel over time. Small bubbles or imperfections do not affect functionality and are not considered defects.
