The Flugo DNM Beehive is designed for beekeepers using the Deutsch Normalmaß (DNM) system. This polyurethane beehive provides excellent thermal insulation, lightweight handling, and long service life.
Made from durable polyurethane, the beehive ensures stable internal hive conditions throughout the year. The monolithic construction improves durability, reduces maintenance, and simplifies hive management.
The hive is designed for 11 DNM frames and can also be used with a divider, allowing the hive to be split into two nucs (5 + 5 frames). This provides flexible colony management and makes the hive suitable for both production colonies and split creation.
The Flugo DNM beehive is suitable for both hobby and professional beekeepers and allows flexible hive configuration using compatible Flugo hive components.

Painting Instructions
Polyurethane is not UV-resistant. Apply a UV-protective coating after 1–2 years of sun exposure. Lightly sand the surface before application to ensure proper adhesion. A properly applied coating can protect the hive for up to 10 years without repainting.
Potential Disadvantages
Unpainted hive parts may have a shorter lifespan and may peel over time. Small bubbles or imperfections do not affect functionality and are not considered defects.
